Ralph Andres, MD, is a jack-of-all-trades and the Team Manager of History Editing for The Guardian Group. He was cultivated to be an ethical and responsible member of the community, having grown up in Norwalk, CA, and Cerritos, CA. He is a proud graduate of California State University, Long Beach, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Ethnic Studies. He attended medical school in the Philippines at the University of the East, Ramon Magsaysay, graduating in 2021. He also received additional training as a post-graduate intern with the same institution, which enabled him to pass the Philippine Medical License Exam and practice as a general practitioner physician for various outpatient clinics and telemedicine platforms. He has passed the USMLE Step 1 and 2 exams and is currently studying for Step 3. He is in pursuit of a family medicine residency program to serve the nation that raised him into a well-rounded individual.
Working with The Guardian Group has provided him with the flexibility to pursue his goals while remaining active in the realm of medicine. His work with The Guardian Group has allowed him to observe how the legal system interplays with medical decisions and vice-versa. It has also enabled him to network with various healthcare providers and gather their perspectives on the administrative side of healthcare.
When he is not working, he enjoys playing video games and building model kits. He also uses his time to motivate and educate medical graduates on the procedures required to gain admission into American medical residency programs.
